About me

I live in Paris since 1999.

A French associate and I have created a translation society named Pro Verbis. My linguistic combinations are French and English to Italian.

I am member of the scientific committee of COMPAS, an association dedicated to cognitive sciences, education and new technologies, funded by Microsoft France and administered by Institut de l’Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris.

I am organizing an academic seminar and an international conference with CRAL – Paris on sound in cinema.

I have a PhD in Philosophy of cognitive sciences. My research activity is in Philosophy and Cognitive Sciences, new and traditional media, in particular virtual reality and cinema. I have worked as a researcher in Philosophy for the EU Project Enactive Network (more than 20 laboratories from different countries in Europe, and from different disciplines such as robotics and psychology) associated at the Institut Jean Nicod (Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales), Paris.

In Paris I have worked for psychoanalyst Salomon Resnik for the edition of his Italian and French publications and for the CRHST (Center for the Research in History of Sciences and Techniques) at the on-line edition of historic scientific English and French texts (on-line edition and proof reading).

French: I live in France since 1999, I have passed an academic exam at the University of Pisa in French Language and Literature

English: First Certificate obtained in 1995. I have studied English at the British School in Pisa sibce I was a child of 8. I have spent 1 month in London in 1995 for studying English at the St. Patrick International School. I currently write my academic papers in English.
